I have done all this but as soon as I do anything, it triggers the focusrite to change its sample rate to 44, which then loses lock. I checked I could hear music via the headphone output on the focusrite by playing music on the pc, which works fine. I have done this - my focusrite is the preferred device and shows in windows clearly. I have to change the sample rate to 96 as that is what I told the devialet to output. Rebel fighter Yuen Ming (Max Mok) must protect an important letter with content that can expose the corrupt Chinese government. The output channel level is working fine - I can see the music there okay. The focusrite is connected by USB to my pc. I have the devialet running into the spdif in on the focusrite. Let me know if this helps - sorry if there are differences between my kit and yours that makes what I have written above difficult to interpret. Tested on: macOS 10.15 (Catalina) macOS 10.14 (Mojave) macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) macOS 10.12 (Sierra) macOS 10.12 or later is required to run Saffire Mix Control. Las versiones ms populares entre los usuarios de Saffire MixControl son 3.7, 3.4 y 3.3. (If this is the case, then you may be able to reset the channel using MixControl.) In any case you should now see input on Audacity, and to record it. This will be the last software release for the Saffire range as they are now discontinued, please see this article from our Help Centre. I found that the digital output from the Focusrite does not always go to Channel 2 (stereo) on Audacity, but sometimes as two mono channel inputs on channels 3-7 in the Audacity dropdown menu. Select the channel - this is the dropdown menu just right of centre. What Thommy says above about setting Windows 8 is likely to be important for this - I use a Mac, so this setting is more intuitive. (2) Set your computer to recognize the digital input from the Focusrite. The Focusrite mixcontrol software instructions tell you (very briefly!!) how to do this. You should be able to see the output channel level. (1) Set the Fousrite mixer software so that the input from your Devialet is going to the appropriate digital output connected to your PC. Please bear in mind that I use a Focusrite Saffire Pro14, and record on a Macintosh via FireWire, so there may be some specific differences between your kit and mine. Here are the steps that I took to sort this out. I had a similar problem at first in recording using Audacity.
